Hillingdon Partners Executive

Hillingdon Partners is the borough's Local Strategic Partnership (LSP). The Partnership aims to bring together the local public, private, voluntary and community sectors to improve the quality of life for all who live, work, do business in or visit Hillingdon.

The LSP is led by the Hillingdon Partners Executive, which acts as the forum for all partner organisations to come together and deliver shared strategic priorities to advance the social, environmental and economic well-being of the London Borough of Hillingdon.

The core tasks of the Executive are to:

  • Monitor the delivery of the priorities as set out in the Sustainable Community Strategy for Hillingdon: "What Hillingdon wants to be known for".
  • Bring together local partnerships and initiatives to provide a forum through which providers of local services can work together to meet local needs and priorities.
  • Promote citizenship and democratic engagement.

Members of the Executive remain accountable to their parent organisations, but there is also collective responsibility across the Executive for delivery of the Sustainable Community Strategy.

The Executive is comprised of the following partner organisations from across Hillingdon:

Hillingdon Partners has agreed to focus on the following priority areas:

  • Work together to maintain and improve the quality of Hillingdon as a place
  • Help people to lead healthier and more independent lives
  • Invest in early intervention and prevention
  • Increase access to Employment, Apprenticeships and Skills
  • Invest in Hillingdon's town centres
  • Reduce anti-social behaviour
  • Promote and increase residents' involvement in sports, leisure, cultural and learning activities
  • Build a strong and resilient community
  • Provide secondary school places for Hillingdon children
