Ealing and Hillingdon Education Business Partnership (E and HEBP)

E and HEBP exists to promote links between education and industry. It is a non-profit making company. It supports many schools across the borough, primarily in relation to 14 to 19 year old young people.

The E and HEBP organises work experience placements for more than 2,000 borough school students each year. The E and HEBP has working relationships with more than 700 local business organisations.

Another close link is with Uxbridge College through the Vocational Preparation Programme. This offers secondary school students the opportunity to study vocational subjects like hairdressing and motor vehicle maintenance at the College for one day a week.

A successful mentoring programme has been founded with industrialists acting as mentors to students who, for whatever reason, need additional support.

The E and HEBP also supports a number of other activities; including work based learning programmes, work related learning, enterprise and entrepreneurship programmes, industry conferences and key skills courses.

The company delivers high quality pre-vocational life skills and accredited work-related training for the benefit of residents and employers in the local area. Its target market is students aged 16 to 19 years wishing to follow Modern Apprenticeship (MA) programmes, as well as adults in the local community and employees of local boroughs seeking work-based training.
