Employment rights

Do you know your working time limits and break entitlements?

employment rights

You have different employment rights from an adult worker. Depending on your age there are rules that regulate your working hours, minimum wage rates, holidays and health and safety at work.

For information visit GOV.UK website.

Employment rights and the Disability Discrimination Act

Disabled workers share the same general employment rights as other workers, however there are also some special provisions for them under the Equality Act 2010 which replaced the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA). To find out about your rights to reasonable adjustments at your workplace visit the Directgov website for employment support.
