Gardens of Remembrance

Following the cremation, the cremated remains may, if desired, be returned to the earth in the Gardens of Remembrance.

The gardens have been designed to offer areas of formal arrangement along with areas of unspoilt natural beauty to give an atmosphere of peace and life, rather than death, and a source of comfort to those whose loved ones rest in the gardens.

If you wish to witness the scattering, appointments can be arranged for a Wednesday or Thursday every half hour between:

  • 9.30am to midday
  • 1pm to 3pm

An attendant will escort you but should you wish a Minister/Celebrant to speak on your behalf this will need to arranged by you.

The Gardens of Remembrance is an area available to everyone and not just an individual.

Those seeking solace of the quiet contemplation, and those who appreciate the beauty of well maintained gardens are very welcome to visit.

The gardens are open 365 days of the year and the crematorium staff will be pleased to assist visitors with any enquires they may have.
