Local history


We hold over 2,000 maps, including: 

  • 6 inch and 25 inch to 1 mile Ordnance Survey maps - these show local developments from the 1860s onwards.
  • enclosure maps, 1780s to 1830s - see what your area looked like 200 years ago.
