Flooding can occur from a variety of sources. Roles and responsibilities and contact details of different bodies in managing flood risk can be found on the following pages:

What is being done to reduce flood risk?

Hillingdon as a Lead Local Flood Authority is one of a number of bodies that have a role in flood risk. They have developed a flood risk portfolio of documents to inform about the risks the borough faces, explain the roles and responsibilities of different organisations as well as creating a strategy for all organisations to help reduce those risks.

There are also a number of current flood risk management projects and events that the council and other organisations are working on in partnership.
