Floristry and horticulture courses

We have a full and varied programme of classroom based courses, to suit those looking to enhance existing knowledge and skills or for those looking for a complete change of career. From beginners to qualification courses there is something to suit everyone.

Ben a learner a horticulture course said: "It's amazing to be able to speak with confidence about plants, I have gone from 0 to 100 in my knowledge and I'm now able talk to my family and friends about their gardens. I've even helped my nieces and nephews grow sunflowers for the first time - it's really rewarding. Don't be frightened to enrol on a course; just do it. It's fantastic and you won't regret it."
Some of our courses are held at the Rural Activities Garden Centre and some are held in our centres.

Information on gardening classes [82KB] taking place from September.

We also have a wide range of fun one day workshops that are available throughout the year, in both Floristry and Horticulture. These include Floristry Master classes in Floral Table Arrangements and Church Wedding Flowers. Horticulture workshops include Care and Maintenance of Roses and Introduction to Propagation starting from September.
