Clinical waste collection

Our clinical waste collection can either consist of a bag collection or a sharps box collection. This is available for residential properties only and not commercial.

Bag collection

The bags are a tiger print design and are available for those residents who wish to dispose of items such as Stoma bags, colostomy bags, bandages and dressings.

A collection is made every Wednesday, bags should be left within your property boundary either the night before or by 7am on day of collection. New bags are left after collection.

If bags are required to start off the collection, this can be arranged via our Contact Centre .

Clinical sharps (needles)

Sharps bins are used to dispose of needles, syringes, lancets (used with finger pricking devices) or clippers. These are specially designed rigid boxes with a sealed lid.

Residents can obtain sharps bins from either their GP or pharmacist.

Collections can be made arranged via our Contact Centre, one off collections and regular collections are also available.

The sharps bin should be left within your property boundary ready for collection on the first Wednesday of every month (However a monthly collection may not be required).
