Open House 2020

Open House London is the world's largest architecture festival, giving free public access to more than 800 buildings, walks, talks and tours across London. This year's event will take place over the weekend of 19 and 20 September.

You will have the opportunity to gain access to a number of historic sites around the borough, either virtually from the comfort of your own home, or through venues putting provisions in place that are inline with government guidance, so visitors can safely explore.

Venues taking part this year include:

  • Manor Farm, Ruislip
  • Eastcote House Gardens
  • Cranford Park
  • Harmondsworth Great Barn
  • Southlands Arts Centre
  • Ruislip Lido Miniature Railway
  • St Mary the Virgin, Harmondsworth
  • St Martin's Church, Ruislip
  • St Peter & St Paul Church, Harlington

There will be two walks highlighting the historic context of Hayes Village and the Treaty of Uxbridge, and a self-guided tour of some of the borough's war memorials.
