Pay online

Make a payment
(by debit card or credit card).

Pay by direct debit

This is the easiest method of payment both for you as the customer and for the Council. It saves you the worry of remembering to pay each month, of writing a cheque, buying a stamp, posting a letter or standing in a queue at the bank or post office.

All you have to do to apply is download the  direct debit instruction form [102KB]. Please print the online form (use the icon on the Acrobat toolbar - not the browser one), sign and return it to the Business Rates Section.

Pay by BACS transfer, Bankers Order or telephone/internet banking

Please note we have recently changed our bank details from Lloyds Bank to Nat West. ALL payments made by the above payment methods should quote the bank details below.

Our new NAT WEST bank details are:

  • Sort code 60-22-10
  • Account 72430176

Payments  made recently quoting old bank details will be accepted. The Lloyds bank account will be closing shortly

Please quote  your rates reference number or  supply a remittance.

Pay by telephone

You can use the 24 hour automated telephone payment service which accepts debit cards and credit cards.

  • Telephone 01895 556699

Please have your business rates reference number and debit/credit card ready when you call.
