Cowley Recreation Ground

Awarded a Green Flag for the first time in 2009 this site is a vibrant and well used recreation ground. The adjacent Grand Union Canal is the backdrop to a much appreciated and pleasant local site.

The site incorporates other features into its mainly recreational setting, serving the community well with play area, football pitches, multi games court, bowling green and sports pavilion/changing rooms.

A footpath network allows access for all and areas set aside for wildlife provide interest. Horticultural interest is provided by seasonal and shrub beds, mature trees and hedges.

How to get there

The Ground is accessible via the main area of Cowley. The main entrance to the gardens is off High Street. Alternatively, the site can be accessed via the canal towpath or Benbowe Waye.

Car: Parking is available on site and can be found near the High Street entrance.

Public Transport: Take the 222 bus from either Uxbridge or West Drayton.
