Change of vehicle

Have you changed your car and require a temporary permit (valid for one month only)?

Apply for change of vehicle

Note: We will not be able to process your request for a permanent permit if we do not receive your old permit and proof of the new vehicle ownership. If you have lost your permit and are therefore unable to return it to us then there will be a charge of £5.

Renewing a permit

To do this, you will need your username and online renewal password (which will be sent to you approximately one month before renewal). Permits will be renewed from the expiry date of the existing permit, or the current date if you have allowed the permit to expire.

Vouchers will automatically be sent to you free of charge upon renewal of the free resident permit. Your permit will be posted to you within three working days.

Note: If the permit is allowed to lapse for more than 28 days, you will not be able to use the online facility and must contact the Parking Permits Service for renewal.

Contact us

The permit section operates a postal service and does not receive personal callers. This is to allow all requests to be dealt with in strict date receipt order.

General enquiries, application/document submission and renewal requests may be sent via fax and email. These will be dealt with in the same manner as items received by post.
