Do you have a child born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016?

If so, you must apply for your child to start primary school in September 2020 by Wednesday 15 January.

The brochure contains a lot of useful information on making your application, choosing your schools, frequently asked questions and all of the schools' individual criteria and contact details.

This handy admissions calculator tool will help you find out which criteria your application will meet and the distance from your home address to the school. 

Please be aware that this can only calculate distances from Hillingdon borough addresses. If you live outside of Hillingdon and would like to calculate your distance to a school, please use this distance calculator.

Information sessions

Meet the School Admissions team, learn about the process and how places are offered, get help applying online, information on schools, and much more. Sessions will be held at the Civic Centre, Uxbridge, UB8 1UW, on Friday 15 November, 10.30am to 11.30am and 1pm to 2pm, and on Monday 2 December, 2.30pm to 3.30pm and 5pm to 6pm. Spaces are limited and you must book your place to attend.

To give your child the best possible chance of being offered their preferred school, please ensure your application is received on time.

Hillingdon Council cannot be held responsible for any delays in the post or problems with internet provider; we therefore recommend you submit your application by Monday 13 January to ensure it is received on time.

Proof of address

You are required to submit Proof of address - primary [151KB] alongside your application. Please be aware that when you apply online you will not be able to attach any documentary evidence until after you have submitted your application.

Offer day

National Offer Day is Thursday 16 April.


If you are considering applying to a school that considers faith as a criterion, you must complete a supplementary information form (SIF). The completed SIF must be returned to the school or address cited on the school's criteria. The deadline for on-time supplementary information forms is Wednesday 15 January

Please be aware that any forms submitted after the deadline will not be processed until after National Offer Day (Thursday16 April).
