Starting primary school September 2022

Do you have a child born between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2018?

Starting Primary School 2021 If so you must apply for your child to start primary school in September 2022 by Saturday 15 January 2022.

From the 1 September 2021 you will be able to start completing your child's application.

Closing date for applications is Saturday 15 January 2022.

To give your child the best possible chance of being offered their preferred school, please ensure your application is received on time. Hillingdon council can not be held responsible for any delays in the post or problems with internet providers; we would therefore recommend that you submit your application by Thursday 6 January 2022 to ensure it is received on time.

Offer Day

National offer day is Tuesday 19 April 2022

Proof of address

You will be required to provide proof of address as part of your application. To find out more about what proof is accepted, read the  guide [151KB].

Supplementary information

If you are considering applying to a school that considers faith as a criterion you must complete a supplementary information form (SIF). The completed SIF must be returned to the school or address cited on the school's criteria. The deadline for on-time supplementary information forms was Saturday 15 January. Please be aware that any forms submitted after the deadline will not be processed until after national offer day (Friday 16 April).

The following schools consider faith as a criterion, please select the name of the school to obtain a supplementary form.

Applications for families arriving from abroad, including from the EU, from 1 January 2021 

In most cases, children arriving from overseas have the right to attend schools in England. It is the responsibility of parents to check that their children have a right, under their visa entry conditions, to study at a school before submitting an application.
