Violent crime

Violent crime can happen to anyone. If you are concerned in any way about any form of violent crime including:

  • acid attacks
  • alcohol and drug-related violence
  • domestic violence
  • gang violence
  • gun and knifes
  • hate crimes
  • sexual violence (such as rape or sexual assault)

or you know someone who is, help is available.

Please see the guide below, you can talk in confidence to someone from one of the support help lines contained in this guide. Many have specially trained staff and volunteers to help people affected by violent crime. They also know that crimes like this can also have a strong impact on friends and family, and they are here to support anyone affected.
